Ed Wood is a comedy & drama biopic by Tim Burton. Starring: Johnny Depp as cult filmmaker named Ed Wood. The film speaks of the life of Ed Wood when he made his best movies and as well about his relation to actor Bela Lugosi, played by Martin Landau. In 1952, Ed Wood is having problems to join the film industry. When hearing of an announcement in Variety magazine, that a producer named George Weiss (Mike Starr) is trying to purchase Christine Jorgensen's life story, Ed makes a meeting with Weiss in person. Weiss explains to Ed that Variety's announcement was a news leak and that it is impossible to purchase Jorgensen's rights. The producer then "fictionalizes" the film, with a new title: "I Changed My Sex!". Ed wants to convince Weiss that he is perfect to direct "I Changed My Sex!" cause he is a transvestite, but is not successful as Weiss wants someone with experience...
