I Love You Phillip Morris is a American & French romantic comedy drama movie in 1980s and '90s, based on Amazing movie show blogof con artist, impostor, and multiple prison escapee Steven Jay Russell, played by Jim Carrey himself. It grossed some over $20 million worldwide after its limited theatric release. After original difficulty finding a U.S. distributor, likely due to its explicit gay sexual content, the film was re-edited.

While incarcerated, Russell manages to fall in love with his fellow inmate, Phillip Morris (Ewan McGregor). After Morris gets released from prison, he escapes from prison four times all together, in order to be reunited with Morris.
