Jaws
Jaws is a 1975 thriller movie directed by Steven Spielberg and about the Peter Benchley's novel "Jaws".
A young girl named Chrissie Watkins leaves from a beach party at dusk on Amity Island and goes instead for skinny dipping. Whilest swimming out near a buoy, she is caught by something from her below. It throws her here and there and drags her in the end underwater. Chrissie is afterwards reported missing and her bodily remains are found on the beach, by the Deputy chief Martin Brody. The medical examiner tells Brody that she was killed by a shark. Brody wants to close the beaches but is overruled by mayor Larry Vaughn, who is afraid that reports of a shark attack will ruin the summer tourist season, the town's nr.1 source of income...
