Remember the Titans

Remember the Titans is a sports drama movie produced by;Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Boaz Yakin.

In 1971, at the T. C. Williams High School, a black head coach Herman Boone (Washington) is working to lead the school's football team. Boone takes over from the previous coach Bill Yoast (Patton), nominated for the Virginia High School Hall of Fame. As a show of honour, Boone offers an assistant coordinator coaching position to Yoast. Yoast refuses in the start Boone's offer, but reconsiders after the white players pledge to boycott the team if he does not join. Afraid of that the students will lose their chances at scholarships, Yoast joins the team and takes up the position as a defensive coordinator.
